While sitting in a classroom at Drexel University Lynece Annette was struck by the photo bug. Taking an elective course in Photography resulted in a true love for the profession. After years of inspiration and dedication, Lynece Annette turned out to be a passionate photojournalist with a unique vision to creatively capture memories.

Now an accomplished wedding and celebrity photographer, she has garnered a reputation for capturing stimulating images that bring smiles to her clients faces. She has photographed celebrities such as President Obama, Jill Scott, Maxwell, Lady B, Will Smith and more. Although she has had the opportunity to shoot some famous people, her true love is weddings.

She’s accumulated a host of positive testimonials because she simply adores weddings. She sees weddings as a day of love, emotion, happiness and joy, and she goes above and beyond to make sure that anyone who views your images shares in your special joy. Married for twenty one years, Lynece Annette also shares her love and passion for photography with her husband Jay Austin, an accomplished photographer in his own right. Based in the music scene, he has an impeccable reputation and a flair for the creative. As the office manager, set designer/builder and assistant to his wife, his unique vision and take on photography and graphics compliments their individualized style.

Commonly Asked Questions

How many photos can I expect?: For a wedding, you can expect anywhere from 600-900 images depending on your selected package.
How quickly can I expect my pictures?: Your completed wedding photos should be ready 6-8 weeks from the day of your wedding. All printed products (albums, enlargements, canvases, etc.) are due to arrive 30 to 60 days from the date you approve your order. Sessions such as engagements and boudoir, please expect to view your edited images approximately 2-4 weeks from the date of your session.
Do you do destination weddings?: YES! We will travel anywhere love takes us!
Do we get every picture taken?: No. We cull through and select the very best pictures of your day. We remove any images where people are blinking, if it is blurry, or test shots.
Can we print our own photos?: Yes you can. But, please note, common places to print your images typically are not calibrated to represent the true colors which can throw off the colors drastically on the print. In order to get accurate colors and photos that won’t fade or fall apart over time, we recommend printing your images through our professional printing lab.
What is your wedding photography style?: My shooting style encompasses the timelessness of classic images with a modern twist; artistic with an eye towards all the intimate fantastic details often missed during your amazing day and lastly, documentary photography which captures candid or spontaneous images of people, décor and action—in the moment.
Do you only photograph weddings?: While our main focus tends to be weddings, we offer a variety of services! In addition to weddings and engagements we offer birth, boudoir, lifestyle, newborn portraits, family portraits, head shots, concerts and events!
Do we own the copyright to the photos?: Austin Fine Photography is sole owner of the copyright to our images. However, you do receive printing rights with your package. We offer a variety of print packages including a variety of albums, wall art, and prints.
